Well, here's something interesting to check out regarding this film: Pictures. And good pictures... of Snake Eyes: Far as I can see, as of right now all the negatives this movie has stacked up just got knocked down a peg by one great big, black-clad, Arashikage trained positive! -Jim

Over all, it looks a bit too much like Shumaker "Batman" for my tasts. (This might also be a function of the lighting in the picture.) The Arashikage sigil is way too pronounced. Still, none of the above will ruin the movie for me. (And, yes, I am still optimistic about this.) Dom

I believe this costume is loosely based on the artwork on the back cover of Devil's Due's first issue of their GI Joe run: The first several issues all had high-grade artwork on the backs of them, and Snake Eyes was on the very first one. Alot of the details of the costume fit that picture, as you can see, including the Arashikage sigil. -Jim

I'm gonna go into with an open mind and just enjoy what is given to me. I am a HUGE fan of the comic, and I know nothing will ever live up to that to me, but having Hama on board does give me hope. And I gotta admit the SE photos do look rather nice...

So, I'm already biased toward loving this. I'm not usually a huge fan of Snake Eyes (don't dislike him, mind you, just not wild about him), but that picture looks pretty much awesome. --138 "Waiting patiently for pics of Destro" Scourge EDIT: Holy crap! Cobra Commander's being played by Joeseph-Gordon "Kid from 3rd Rock" Levitt! That is amazing, and...I actually really, really like that bit of casting.

I guess I have to say I feel about that similar to how I'd feel about a MacGyver movie. I'm guardedly excited and curious. I'll see it with an open mind, probably enjoy it thoroughly and then nitpick it to death after the ride's over. I've already accepted that it'll probably bear little resemblance to the Sunbow Joe I know and love. I only know the basic framework of the comic 'verse, so it'll pretty much feel all new and different to me, and that might be ok.
