Hi! I've been really busy lately and what better way to keep busy than to buy more materials for more projects. This is actually a TOP SECRET project that i haven't shared with, not on Joe dios or yojoe.. or Cool and Cosmic. People are aware that I've started Street Work but this is something I'm letting the C.A in on personally. What better way than to show you this new project of mine than to ask our good friend the material force microman the details. The concept is simply based on a Bunker whether it be Eucadian or Chernovan. dont worry you dont have to know who they are, but the design comes from the Warhawk game I've been playing. Here are two pictures of the bunker ![]() ![]() This second picture shows entry to the bunker at ground level at the rear side. That's what I plan to do with mine. Ok now we've seen what we're going to do. Lets consider the actual weapons. In the Warhawk game you take over a certain base with these bunkers they become equipped on the roof with either SAM Turrets or Anti Aircraft guns. I had a spare set of guns so I'm going to equip my bunker with the AA Guns. Here is a picture of the Guns and Accessories for the Bunker. ![]() you can see one of the platform pieces from the Tactical Battle Platform. I got this for a small fee from Jasonsjoes.com recently. What about the actual structure. I'm planning to decorate foamcore board. Then use it as my structure for the outer walls. I also want to create a raised central pillar or beam across the middle to support the AA Gun that links to the centre of the bunker. Lets have a look at the AA Gun Mechanism. ![]() Now onto the structure.. ![]() ![]() This is where we have to stop for now. However please do keep in mind this is top secret and i wont be updating this anywhere else but here. The pictures are viewable from flickr, but as far as forums go.. your the first guys to know. I'm hoping the bunker will be bigger and better than the original cobra bunker hasbro gave us in the 80s, i always thought it was a little small. Once I've cut out the 8x10cm panels i'll try and assemble an outer shell and take a picture for you. one final note, those measurements are in cm's. so a joe figure is typically 9 1/2cms tall. From the floor to the roof it will be about 17 to 18cms tall. If you need a better example just get two ARAH Joes and put them head to toe one on top of the other in height and you'll have an idea of the height. For the length it will be about 20cms long. Which is like three figure lengths. or like a piece of A4 Paper in size. I hope you've enjoyed seeing this project as much as I've had fun sharing it with you.
